After wellcoming last spring the arrival of Jo kergueris, a breton speaking Head at the
Conseil General du Morbihan, and having recalled the need to put in place bilingual road signs (breton and french), the Breton Party can only rejoices itself at the
Département (*) decision to put in place the new road signs, with the help of the Office of Langue Bretonne. (**)
By this decision, the Conseil General finally reacts to popular demands and to actions carried out by militants for the last 20 years! Now, Morbihan will be in position to catch up with the Cotes d\'Armor and Finistére Départements.
The Breton Party hopes strongly that this very encouraging decision will be followed by others giving back to the breton language the space it deserves.
For the Breton Party, A. Samson
Morbihan Federation Secretary
(*) French administrative district
(**) An organization promoting and defending the use of the breton language
