NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE The Cornwall Branch of the Celtic League has written to the Principal Officer at Cornwall Council Planning Department and to the Portfolio Holder for Planning at Cornwall Council, Cllr. Edwina Hannaford, with the following request, submitted under the terms of the UK Freedom of Information Act, 2000 and with reference to the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities and associated announcements requesting and requiring Cornwall Council to provide or otherwise make available the minority impact assessment on the Cornish minority by the Council?s existent, ongoing and proposed development plans. Letter by Stephen Williams MP Minister for Communities, Department for Communities and Local Government dd. 22 Jan 2015 confirming immediate inclusion of the Cornish people into the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities Request Taking account of the above references and drawing your particular attention to the said Framework Convention and sections and articles contained within, we request and require Cornwall Council to provide or otherwise make available the minority impact assessment on the Cornish minority by the Council?s existent, ongoing and proposed development plans.
