The Celtic League Secretary General would welcome support from any League members willing to travel to the anti-military demonstrations planned for next years' armed forces day.

At the Celtic League AGM this year in Cornwall it was resolved that:

"Noting that the 2010 Armed Forces Day "national celebrations" are to be held in Cardiff, Cymru, the AGM agrees in principle to arrange or support an inter-Celtic part of the expected demonstrations against the event, depending on the nature of the opposition to be organised."

It has been confirmed that the Armed Forces Day will take place in Cardiff on 27 June 2010 and anyone League members able to attend the proposed opposition demonstration should contact the Secretary General via e-mail
