Cynon Valley Assembly candidate, Dafydd Trystan Davies has welcomed the UK government’s decision to support Plaid Cymru's call for the electrification of the Valleys lines. In a statement at Westminster the Transport Secretary committed the UK government to work with the Welsh government to electrify the Valleys lines.
